M Dance Collective’s mission is to introduce and share Chinese dance while bringing communities together by bridging Eastern and Western dance art forms. Since its inception in 2021, M Dance Collective has welcomed and nurtured dancers of different ages and backgrounds in Los Angeles. 

M Dance Collective dedicates itself to instilling a great love of dance and culture while inspiring self-confidence, discipline and respect for the performing arts in the next generation of dancers. Dancers at M Dance Collective are exposed to and taught a foundational variety of different traditional Chinese Folk dance styles, such as Mongolian, Dai, Han and many more. They also receive Classical Chinese dance training, which is drawn from various disciplines including acrobatics, gymnastics, martial arts, and ballet, providing the foundation from which they can branch off into different styles and specialties. Within each style, many dancers become fond of the cultural and historically accurate costumes and beautiful props that are used throughout various Chinese dance styles. 

In addition to community performances, M Dance Collective has won numerous awards, including but not limited to, the 2021 KAR National Studio of the Year Award, 2022 & 2023 KAR National Champion, 2023 KAR National Grand Champion, 2022 & 2023 Showstopper National Champions, and 2023 Revolution Talent National Champion & Battle of the Champions Winners.
