This FREE, one-night-only dance party is an open invitation to all Angelenos to connect with one another through the universal language of dance and music, particularly in the wake of the devastating wildfires. Bring your dancing shoes to The Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall and enjoy dancing with live music, DJs and follow-along beginner lessons. The Music Center’s Dance DTLA: Special Edition highlights L.A.'s strength, unity and resilience and is a space for everyone to rebuild connections and enjoy moments of joy and renewal. No dance experience necessary!

Maya Jupiter is an Australian hip-hop artivist, MC, TV/radio presenter and youth mentor. She is unwavering in her commitment to social justice, writing songs that highlight some of today's toughest issues. Maya co-founded Artivist Entertainment to support artists who use their art to promote positive social transformation and has been facilitating songwriting workshops with adults and youth for the last 20 years. Now raising a family in Los Angeles, Maya recently released an EP with Tongva/Chumash artist Jessa Calderon, now available everywhere.

DJ Cquestt
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Cquestt has always been inspired by the sounds and cultures of her city. Starting her career as a backup dancer, she toured the world and was introduced to music from all cultures, which inspired her to bring new sounds back to L.A.! This sparked her career in DJing, combining her love for dance and music into one place. She has gone on to perform at festivals such as Coachella, Flog Gnaw and LA3C- transporting audiences around the world! This passion inspired her to create L.A.’s hottest dance party Baile World!

DJ Ethos
Ethos is a performance heavyweight DJ from Los Angeles, with eclectic party rocking skills and unlimited vibes. As a turntablist with a global perspective, he has headlined iconic residencies and festivals across the country like Coachella, Electric Forest, Northern Nights, Supersonico, Lightning In A Bottle and Boiler Room and is trusted on tour by artists like Los Rakas (Panama), Ana Tijoux (Chile), KRS One (U.S.), Bocafloja (Mexico), Eric Bobo of Cypress Hill (U.S.) and many more. Ethos is also a member of SUBSUELO, a Global Bass party celebrating music from around the world.
