Center Dance Arts is proud to present
events throughout the year which give members the chance to learn about the incredible art of dance, socialize with fellow dance aficionados, and support the amazing work of Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at the Music Center and its outreach work to dance lovers of all ages across Los Angeles.

What is the CDA Dance Salon Series?
The CDA Dance Salon Series brings distinguished dance luminaries to meet and talk with CDA members in an intimate setting. Such artists have included dancer Zippora Karz, choreographer Daniel Ezralow, and dance historian Elizabeth Kaye.
What is a Pre-Performance Patrons Lounge?
Exclusive to dance supporters, the pre-performance patrons lounge occurs either on opening night or the Saturday night of a dance engagement and gives attendees the chance to catch up with fellow members and enjoy complimentary hors d'ouevres and wine. When the lounge is not held in a space where attendees can also hear the pre-performance lecture, a special announcement will be made for those that would like to attend.
What are the Music Center Spotlight Awards?
The Music Center Spotlight Awards program is a nationally acclaimed recognition and scholarship program for Southern California high school performing and visual artists. Visit YouTube.com to watch a short video about the Spotlight Awards.
Finalists in the dance categories have gone on to study and work with such dance companies as Alvin Ailey American Ballet Theatre, American Ballet Theatre, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet, among many others. Spotlight Master Classes and Semi-Final Auditions give CDA members an intimate look at the learning and growth process of extremely talented dance students.
