Surprising to most, ticket revenue only covers about 62% of the cost to present a full season of dance and to ensure a range of accessible ticket prices. Center Dance Arts (CDA) is a significant source of funding for each Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at the Music Center season and its mission is to make Los Angeles a world class center for dance. With CDA's support, Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at the Music Center has served over 13,000 children through free school performances, master classes with visiting companies for talented youth, and free lectures that educate all ages of new and experienced dance audiences alike.
