What is considered Premiere Orchestra?

Our Premiere Orchestra is the first 8-10 rows of seating depending on the theatre.

If I buy a ticket later in the season, can that ticket be seated with my subscription tickets?

We can not guarantee that the tickets will be seated next to the tickets you currently have, but we will do our best to find a ticket as close to your assigned seats as possible.

If I purchase an additional seat, can I exchange my subscription tickets so that I can be seated with the other ticket?

As long as we have that many seats available together in a row for the requested performance, we can exchange. You will be charged the exchange fee for the exchange.

When are the DanceTalks (pre performance talks)?

DanceTalks will start 1 hour prior to the performance and will feature key artistic staff when available.

Which performances will have a live Orchestra?

Joffrey Ballet (All Performances),
American Ballet Theater (All Performances).

Who is dancing at the performances?

Casting is usually decided just prior to a company arriving at the Music Center. Casting is usually posted one week prior to the engagement on our website.

What is the deadline for a ticket exchange?

If mailing tickets, they must be received no later than one week before your original performance date or desired performance date, whichever comes first. Tickets must be faxed no later than 48 hours before the original performance date.

Is there a restaurant where I can eat before or after the performance?

Yes, subscribers please visit Patina Groups, the exclusive caterer and dining services provider for the Music Center. Reservations can be made at Kendall's Brasserie by calling 213.972.7322. Spotlight Café and Pinot Grill also serve on performance dates as well. All of these restaurants are located on the Music Center Campus.

Also, please visit other Downtown Restaurants. Many restaurants offer shuttle service to the Music Center.
