For LAPSED flute players looking to make music again.
Offering a mistakes-allowed environment to play music and have fun, Get Your Chops Back is an opportunity to connect with other flute players and re-discover your inner musician.

Once confirmed, rehearsals are 2.5 hours long, 9:30am to 12noon, on July 25, August 8, August 22, August 29, and September 12, with a final open rehearsal on September 26, 2009.
Get Your Chops Back - Flute Choir is for adult learners (18 years and up), non-professional musicians with basic flute playing skills and ability to read standard music notation. Please provide your own C flute. If you have a bass or alto flute or a piccolo, please bring along. There is no audition.

Active Arts® at the Music Center is a series of low or no-cost events for the artist in everyone. Come sing, dance, play music, and tell stories downtown. Be active. |

The Music Center is located at 135 N. Grand Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles. Parking is available in Music Center garage for $9. No photography, videotaping, and recordings of any kind allowed.
