Chinese Theatre Works, a New-York based company with featured artists from Taiwan and Beijing, will present their toy theatre production of the 16th-century Chinese opera classic The Peony Pavilion, featuring distinguished guest artists from China. The production won the UNIMA-USA Citation of Excellence in Puppetry Arts. It is presented bilingually, with arias in Chinese and English language dialog. The production will take place in BP Hall, the dramatic pre-concert lecture space at WDCH.
