Diane Alancraig (flute) has worked with some of the most distinguished artists and musical organizations, including the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and has toured widely in the US, Europe, and Japan. She is currently on contract with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and teaches at California State University, Los Angeles, and California State University, Fullerton.
Mark Baranov (violin) is assistant concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He has served as
co-concertmaster of the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra (MRSO). He toured internationally with the MRSO and appeared as soloist on many occasions. He has been a visiting professor at UCLA. Mr.
Baranov teaches master classes nationally and judges numerous competitions.
David Howard (clarinet) joined the Los Angeles Philharmonic under Music Director Carlo Maria Guilini. He serves on the faculty at USC. Mr. Howard has performed and taught at the Clarinet Days Festival in Tel Aviv and the Aspen Music Festival. This year, he will perform and teach master classes in Vancouver, Beijing, Helsinki, and Stockholm.
John Perry (piano) serves on the faculty at the University of Southern California, Aspen Music Festival, the Colburn School of Performing Arts, and the Royal Conservatory of Music, among others. In
addition to being an adjudicator for major international competitions, Mr. Perry guests with symphony orchestras and holds master classes at universities and conservatories internationally.
Scott Tennant (guitar) is a founding member of the Grammy-winning ensemble LA Guitar Quartet (LAGQ), and is considered to be one of the world’s top classical guitarists. He has made numerous
recordings as a soloist on the GHA, Delos, and GSP labels. With the LAGQ, he has recorded for GHA, Delos, Sony Classical, Windham Hill, Deutsche Grammophon, and Telarc labels.
Karl Vincent-Wickliff (bass) has been a member of the Long Beach Opera, Pacific Symphony, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He studied at UCLA on a full music scholarship, one of several awards he received that also included a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
