Workshop: Sharon Compton's Portable Mural Workshop provides students with the opportunity to create from their own vision, based on a theme which is easily linked to curriculum. Individual work is then combined in one or more large format works (murals) which can be hung on site anywhere at the school, or predesigned for a specific area. Workshop focus is on classical drawing and painting skills, mixed media, and composition, combining abstract and representational images. Sharon presents the creative process (awareness of all possible options) as a method for making art and living one's life.

Sharon Compton has worked professionally as an Art Director/Production Designer in the film industry since 1978. She holds a Bachelors Degree from UCLA in Fine Arts (Dean's List, Honors). Sharon'swork has been exhibited in both Italy and the United States and is held in several private collections.

Price:
$100 per 60-minute workshop, plus possible planning fee. Minimum three workshops per day must be scheduled.
